Lost lots of cash at sign up and 2nd Day, when they want you to buy way too much non-refundable supplements, including vitamins, fish oil, special things that are not explained well, just need to have the faith and fork over cash. $6 a week is deceptive, $6 a day is even low - Hope I can lose the weight I need to & get out of there before the lawsuits put them into bankruptcy. The counselors read what they are supposed to share with you, but are well trained into not giving out info before they are ready to close the deal with you. They will give you a full price up front, after their pitch if you press hard enough to get it and don't sign until you have the info you want - I found out on boards like this, BBB, internet searches, etc. They want to get some of your money before they drop the other shoe & you find out it is very expensive. I'm big & don't push easy, they are mostly small & almost as tough as I am, but face it - They are not in this for their health & don't think people would spend $thousands to lose weight by knowing the truth up front - which may be right. This is the Big Leagues of weight loss, so don't enter thinking you are there to try out for the minors. Ask yourself just one question before (I stress, BEFORE) going to visit & talk with your spouse about this before also - HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH TO YOU TO LOSE THE WEIGHT? The positive may well outweigh the negative, but don't expect to be able to leave this plan & get anything back.
I didn't do the program for the following reasons: I went to the program and was told that the price would be one price but they didn't tell me that it didn't include supplements. The program is not at all effective if you are needing to loose 5 to 30 pounds. Been on the program for 12 weeks and have already lost 80 pounds. I paid for the program, etc. This is the only way rational explanation that I can come up with for the pricing model. For the price you pay, it is expected that you have knowledgeable professionals to staff your centers. I look at the staff and I just see people working a job and though I have no tangible proof, you can tell that they are not really paid much. I purchased a 5 week plan, which includes an additional 6 weeks of stabilization/maintenance and all the supplements and whatnot that I would need for the entire 11 weeks. I have 3-4 more pounds to lose in the next week and a half.
The “counselor” I met with on my first day (01/26/09) assured me that losing 130lbs was possible by simply following their diet plan and nothing more. She assured me that “the cost of the plan included everything, no hidden fees, weekly weight loss guaranteed of 3-7lbs, and supplements would be supplied at no additional cost; although they were not necessary. When I asked to read it she stated she already went over all the details and began asking me questions about my personal life that I did not feel pertained to my weigh loss. When I came in (01/27/09) and I advised the girl at the front desk I was there to “get started.” She told me that according to my file I was not even in the preparation stage yet and I would have to speak with the counselor, I did not know what this meant. When I returned with my concerns the counselor told me I would not “get started” until I paid $378! She spoke down to me making fun of my incompetence for losing weight on my own making me feel shamed into continuing with the clinic. Finally she scheduled me for a nutrition class to "get started" and this is when I realized it was clearly just a sales presentation to force the client into buying overpriced food (supplements). When I refused all of a sudden she claimed the clinic’s foods and excercise are a requirement in order to guarantee the weight loss and I would be incurring additional costs. In the end she stated she did not have the authority to give me a refund, but would forward it to her supervisor and she would call me in the morning. In fact she reiterated that the supplements are necessary for weight loss under their program and the enrollment fee was non-refundable. I did in fact return the merchandise that was never explained to me as being non-refundable. On top of that I never officially began with the program, but I did visit the clinic every time I was required. Once I finally did, I found out all the lies I was told and how I was taken advantage of!
I lost 40 pounds and I kept the weight off for over 3 years. The program works and the people are awesome in the support and guidance that they provide during and after your program. The program works but you have to be careful. The problem I have with QWLC is not with the program itself, but with its sales and marketing approach. I became very dissatisfied with QWLC and cannot recommend the program for the following reason: If however, problems arise, you will lose, but it may not be weight because all services and products must be purchased and paid for before you completely understand how the program works. So I spent all that money and they won't refund a dime, so I lost that money, the Dr. Please if you need to loose weight nothing but exercise and a good diet that you can get through the internet. They are concerned about your health and they take the time and effort to help you with the diet as well as your health. You have to be committed to staying on the program and not cheating.

Do not waste your time unless you have approx 3000 to 5000 dollars to spend. more Do not waste your time unless you have approx 3000 to 5000 dollars to spend. I was really excited about this until I was told that when I paid the 600+plus I was only given enough for 1 week to 1month supply of products, when I was told I would be receiving 1 month supply of everything and that I would not have to purchase their snacks unless I wanted too(come to find out you do and it is apart of your daily meal plan). They do not give you the amount the program cost until you can no longer get the money back that you paid the day of the consultation (you will not get back 412 dollars fyi). Yes it cost money to get fat but if you look at the diet it is a basic diabetic/insulin resistance diet which you can get a book that cost 13-15 dollars and tell you how to eat, what to eat and the portions. The weight may not come off as fast but you will lose and be much healthier and not have to take 23 pills a day. Yes you will lose on the quick weight loss diet but really how healthy can it be when you are taking approx 7 different type of supplement pills and 1-3 pills each meal and do not forget the drink supplements and supplement snacks? If you have the money and want to take all the pills, etc go for it, if not buy the Diabetic book for dummies or Insulin resistance book and exercise 3 time a week. This program definitely works, and is definitely worth the money. more This program definitely works, and is definitely worth the money. Just be sure that you're ready to commit to the program both financially and mentally, if you do everything that your supposed to do, it will work. How can you ask for a manager when I think she is the manager.

I have lied myself through weight watchers, the paleo code and body for life. As for the diet, if you want to eat grilled chicken and veggies with no additional flavor, this diet is for you. QWLC and all the other weight loss centers will help you with that. I lost 68 pounds total, and a year later, I have maintained the weight loss. I have been on this diet since January and I've lost 70 lbs out of the 115 I had to lose total. I am paid through the year, and I have also paid for a year of maintainence. If you are in the right state of mind and ready to commit to a lifestyle change, this diet will work for you. So I have to watch that, I've only been on the program 7 days and have gone from 208 to 195. I was not eating to try to lose weight, now I eat constantly and the weight is coming off. Yes, they try to up-sell the program and their products.
