I have lost and maintained weight loss on the Weight Watchers system for years. With this app, I can continue to use the old points system I was familiar with-and I have lost 14 pounds in one month! As for the app itself, I'd love more color and graphs and bars and other bells and whistles. I hope the developers keep this app around because it works! I've lost more weight in the past using the old ww points system and have struggled to find a simple app that allows me to track my points with it. I've used several other apps but the are so time consuming and this one is quick and easy. A few tips for the developer, it would be nice to have more space to key in item descriptions and it still display the number of points in the favorites list.right now it just cuts it off. It would also be nice if the app supported landscape view instead of just portrait. That list is located within the app, but it's not where it needs to be. I did give the app 3 stars (not just because I'm feeling generous) but because it does put the # of points on the outside of the app as notification (reminding you what you have left for the day).
I previously used this app and was able to use the scanner tool. I need this to work all the time, I rely on this app for my weight loss success. Scanner Barcode Gone I have been using this app on my galaxy s5 with no issues and for the last two days I have not been able to find the Barcode scanner. This was one of the best components of the app! April 27, 2015. Have to use a separate app to get the info, then come back to WW app and enter the data to then get your points. The layout is fairly good and easy to navigate but it's not much use if I can't log in. Generally this app is OK, but why do you have to keep logging in all the time? Drives me mad, you never had to do this with the old app, I'm now logging in every other time I use it! Can't use app most of the time now. Works good most of the time The app is slow to load and lately. I am able to log-in online just fine, but cannot log-in to the app.

I've lost 14 lbs in 12 weeks and love the new PP program. Space I felt with the old program, I didn't want to sacrifice my points for things like fruits and vegetables and that hurt me. I lost 170 pounds on the "old" program. I have really struggled to maintain my weight on the new program and the new Points Plus program. I have tried and tried to adjust my points, fat, carbs, and added more exercise, but I have managed to gain right at 10 pounds since the new program was put into affect. I like that the fruit is free, but you can still eat too much of it and fruit contains sugar and carbs. I love the plus program. Not a rapid weight loss but I don't feel deprived, I love the recipes they post and I am eating healthier than I have in many moons. I don't like the new system at all- I am short and it is too much food. The program is wonderful and has worked great for me. I love the meetings and my leader. I like the old ww points. I started ww in July 2010 and when the new wwplus started, I was derailed for several months. Yes, I am following the program and I exercise about 90 minutes EVERY day (walking and pilates). I felt like I learned more at the meetings on the old program.

Now with the new points plus system, most veggies and fruits are zero points - or freebies. Fruits, while on the old method usually calculated to a points value, on the new most of these are zero. If you are not sure, then check with the Weight Watchers tools or your leader. If you are still unsure, always error on the conservative side and calculate the points as if it were not a freebie. The formula for the original Points system was: The Current Points Plus. So Weight Watchers takes the output of the formula above, the FED, and divides it by 35 to produce Points Plus. For instance, if you take the generic FDA women’s guidance of 2,000 calories, reduce that by 1,000 calories to 1,000, then divide by 35 and round up, you end up with 29 Points. Now for a version of the patent’s “Formula 10” above, but with numbers substituded for the constants and the 35 divisor added to produce Points Plus. From this you can derived the simple Points Plus formula below the step-by-step instructions at the top of this post by dividing the numbers and combining the two dietary fiber terms.

I still wanted to be able to have wine, chocolate, beer, and the occassional cheeseburger and points plus lets me do that. I love for your recipes to come with the Points Plus listed. It would be awesome if you include the points. Before, I lost 40 pounds (the same 40 pounds that found me again and now I have to lose them again!). I have been on the program 2 weeks, and have only lost 0.2 pounds. I'm terribly discouraged, but they keep saying that it doesn't work like the old program and that it WILL come off, it just takes your body time to adjust. The article stated that one should "portion" and eat slowly and enjoy. And the new program has me motivated to lose the pounds that I let sneak back on after I lost them the first time!
