I lost 70 and also have the same problem and have been working so hard. I have great abs but with all the skin, you can’t even see it. I am at 160 lbs and I have the abs it is just the loose skin wont allow them to show. I only weigh 130 lbs now and so now I also have the extra skin issue. I too have lost over 140 pounds and have kept it off for the last 5 years. As much as the extra skin bothers me, I am so happy and grateful to be at the weight I am now. It's possible to lose weight and tighten your stomach after age 50 with a combination of cardiovascular exercise to lose weight and strength training to tighten stomach muscles. Aim for a slow, steady loss of 1 to 2 pounds per week through diet and cardio exercise, while toning your abdominal muscles with strength training.
The quadriceps (quads) are located at the front of your thighs; you use them to straighten your legs. You use your hamstrings, at the back of the thigh, to bend your leg. The abductors, the outer-thigh muscles, pull your legs sideways away from your body; and the adductors, the inner thigh muscles, pull your legs sideways back to your body. (If this position bothers your neck, fold your arm down and rest your head on it.) Bend your left leg, placing your foot flat on the floor. Your right leg is extended and slightly forward. (2) Using your inner thigh muscles, lift your right leg toward the ceiling at least 6 inches. Rest your feet on the floor with your knees bent 90 degrees. Rest your hands on the chair at your sides. (2) Exhale as you lift and extend your right leg. Then inhale as you lower your right leg and exhale as you repeat with your left leg. Rest the toe of your left foot next to your right foot for balance. Keeping your back straight, bend at your hips and knees, and slowly sit back onto your right leg, raising your arms straight in front of you as you lower (hold onto the back of a chair for balance, if you need to). Stop when your thighs are almost parallel to the floor, and hold for a second. Then press into your right foot through the heel and stand back up. Exhale as you squeeze the pillow between your thighs, as if you were trying to squeeze the stuffing out of the pillow.

The skin and arms need time with exercise and good diet to show lasting results. The fat is burned during this time and the muscles beneath are built, which ultimately helps the flabby arms firm up.

If you are healthy and simply carry fat in your arms, simple dietary changes and exercise will likely do the trick. The following are tips on how to eat if you want to lose fat from all over your body, including your arms. You can do as many muscle building and toning exercises for your arms as you like, but unless you burn off the fat covering your muscles, your arms will continue to look flabby. You can increase both the number of sets and the number of repetitions as you begin to build tone and muscle in your arms. You can also try a triangle push up, where your hands form a triangle with your forefingers and thumbs, directly below the breastbone. Sit up straight on the edge of the bench or chair, extending your legs in front of you and planting you feet firmly on the ground.  To perform the bench press, you will need a barbell and an exercise bench. Place the barbell on the bench rack and add your chosen weights. Lie down flat on the exercise bench in a natural position, with your feet on the floor and your shoulders touching the bench. Engage your abdominal muscles and slowly lift the bar off the rack. Position the bar directly above the middle of your chest and extend your arms. Slowly lower the dumbbell in front of you, until your arm is perpendicular to your body. Slowly raise the dumbbell back up, forming a "T" shape with your arm and the dumbbell. Variations: Instead of stopping when the dumbbell is perpendicular with your body, you can keep going, rotating your body and twisting the dumbbell underneath, before returning to the starting position.
