We both wanted to lose a little bit of weight and decided to try the crazy sounding Cabbage Soup. And each day had a different set of foods you could eat, mostly containing fruits and veggies and a few protein items, and on the last day some brown rice. I had been carrying that weight around since my daughter was born 2 1/2 years ago, and in the last few weeks I had plateaued so I was looking for a (re) kick-start to get to my pre-pregnancy weight of 159. That didn’t happen to me on the Cabbage Soup Diet. If I have a goal in mind I can stick to it, but I wonder if maybe I didn’t eat enough during the week. If you are eating it, and it’s all that is in the house, they will eat it to. It may take me longer to lose the last 14 lbs but as I do, I will not be making drastic changes like eating cabbage soup for a week because I want to make changes that I can not only stick with but that will also provide me with satisfaction and happiness for the rest of my life.   I want to live a life where I am conscious of what I put into my body, and how I take care of myself but not where I am constantly craving stuff I can’t have because I have established a few months of eating and exercise that helped me lose weight but I can’t maintain the lifestyle and still be happy. They say slow and steady wins the race and I believe that. I hope to maintain the 7.8 lbs I lost this week, add a few ounces of loss for next week and keep coasting down the hill knowing that I can enjoy food and still be healthy. I simply have more weight to lose than she does, and we all know that those lost 5 lbs are the hardest. I do believe this diet is designed to try and make sure you have all the nutrients your body needs. I think that if you commit to a weight loss plan and walk into it with negativity, you will fail. Imagine for one week you ate fruits and veggies for breakfast and lunch. (and don’t worry, I’ll be checking on to let you know in the coming weeks if the weight stayed off)

If starving is the only way you can lose weight, this diet is a very good alternative to becoming anorexic. Just be sure to maintain the diet for six weeks and then adjust into a normal, healthy diet gradually while starting to exercise an hour a day when you have reached your goal weight. If you're just not good at making yourself exercise and restricting food, or if you're a healthy weight and just want to be thinner, this is definitely not the diet for you - try French Women Don't Get Fat instead. This diet is recommended for short term use and can be used with a 2 week break in between. If you can withstand eating certain foods on certain days, and eating as much as you want, then try this diet out. I didn't do anything extra, but follow this diet and I lost weight.

The Cabbage Soup Diet Review – It Works


Seeing that I have put on way too many pounds recently and not very interested in being a gym freak, I have decided to try the cabbage soup diet. Thanks to the reviews from everyone on this website, I have stuck to the diet. I did my own version of the Cabbage Soup Diet 2 years ago, and I lost 22 pounds in roughly 40 days (give or take a few days). I did NOT do the milk and bananas then starve yourself part of this diet. 7)I went to the health food store and created my soup base with low sodium bouillon cubes. I portioned everything I was eating out ahead of time and stored it in the fridge. I kept off all the weight until a bad break-up, after which I started eating dairy and sugar for a while (cow’s milk and sugar will actually make you fatter go figure). I eat moderate portions throughout the day to make sure I never feel hungry. I have tried everything in the past and always fail because of little to none will power so ill keep you all posted! I felt weak to begin with but i was very tired by the end of the day. I LOVE THE CABBAGE SOUP DIET… The next day I felt fine. One thing I made sure I did was start this diet a day or two before I had my days off from work, so the day I felt weak I could take it easy, beacause the next day YOU WILL FEEL BETTER so hang in there! ) so if I finish the diet will I gain ALL of the weight back?
